A baker from Stoddard is the newest Food Network Holiday Baking Champion. Meringue Bakery owner Jennifer Barney won last year’s baking championship but was randomly paired with another baker this year to take on four other past champions to decide the ultimate holiday baking champion.
Barney and her partner Jordan Pilarski won both of their heats and took home the top prize, splitting ten-thousand dollars. Barney is next looking to move her bakery from her home to a shop in La Crosse.
