It was weekend of kicking off the spirit of the season.
Area Elves were hard at work and Santa put down his NAUGHTY and NICE list for awhile to pick up his TO DO LIST. That included The annual Kids and Cops event at Target, a craft show and book fair is supporting the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots at the VFW on Starr Avenue in Eau Claire
And, move over Rudolph, it was run, run Santa! The big guy was the one HOOFING it yesterday…lacing up his boots to burn off some of those cookies! The Run Santa Run 5K took place yesterday morning with nearly 200 runners dressed as Santa Clause, an elf, or gingerbread cookies. Participants helped raise money for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
