Wisconsin’s governor-to-be says he doesn’t see what Republicans are so afraid of. Governor-elect Tony Evers on Friday said he thinks Republicans in Madison are trying to erase his win last month with this week’s lame duck session.
Lawmakers last week announced an agenda for their return to the Capitol that includes moving the 2020 primary election, limiting early voting in the state, and forcing Evers to get permission before banning guns from the statehouse. Lame duck session begins this afternoon.
