UW AIMS TO SAVE STUDENTS SOME BUCKy’S

Some lucky bucky’s as a change should save students some bucks.

Madison College is implementing a new textbook rental program. Starting in 2019, students will pay no more than seven-dollars per credit to rent the books they need at no extra charge for the semester.  So for example, if a student takes 12 credits, they will pay 84-dollars for books.  Some students have expressed relief over the new program saying they will actually be able to eat more regularly now that they won’t be spending so much on books.

One student said if they could save 300-dollars on books a semester, they’d be able to ea tbreakfast every day.
