Some residents in La Crosse are pushing an ordinance to stop people from passing school buses. WEAU says city law allows drivers to pass school buses even when they have their flashing lights on and stop arm out if there’s a sidewalk and a curb on both sides of the street.
An ordinance is on the Judiciary and Administration Committee meeting agenda for December fourth to try to get that loophole changed.
