A proposed ordinance was laid on the table at the City Council meeting that would allow urban poultry raising. The ordinance would allow those who apply to keep five hens inside certain Eau Claire residential zones. Roosters would be prohibited under the proposal mainly because of noise concerns.
No word yet on when EGGsactly they plan to CRACK into the vote on that.
