Police say deer are on the move and looking to mate. The hours around dawn and dusk are traditionally popular for deer movement, but during rutting season deer are on the move any time of day. Insurance statistics show Wisconsin ranks in the top five of states where drivers are most likely to hit a deer, with a one-in-72 chance.
