An Eau Claire woman is facing multiple animal and child neglect charges. According to a criminal complaint, 31-year-old Ashley Johnson was arrested on Saturday after police responded to her house when she claimed there were men with guns there.
Officers didn’t find any men but they say the house had a large amount of urine and fecal matter on the floors and there were multiple dogs and cats that looked malnourished. They say that Johnson’s kids were also forced into poor living conditions. Johnson is being held on one-thousand dollars bond and isn’t allowed to have contact with her children.
