A ten-year-old girl is being held on 50-thousand-dollar cash bond in Chippewa County as the investigation into the death of an infant continues. The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an unresponsive baby boy last week.
He was airlifted from St. Joseph’s Hospital to a hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota where he passed away. The girl allegedly confessed to police that she stomped on the head of the six-month-old.
