An Eau Claire man is going to prison after pleading guilty to selling heroin in the area.
The Leader-Telegram reports 28-year-old Cody Burgess was recently sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted on counts of heroin possession and delivery. An anonymous tip claimed Burgess sold heroin in the area for about six months starting in 2017. He is also being fined and forced to pay nearly two-thousand dollars in restitution.
