The Menomonie Police Department is collecting non-perishable food items in agreement to reduce parking ticket fines.
The department says that from November 1st to the end of the year people will receive a voucher for two dollars off a basic parking ticket for every food item they bring in. However, the deal does not include public safety related tickets. The donations will benefit the Stepping Stones of Dunn County Food Pantry.
