EAGLE CENTER HONORS VETS

Beginning on Saturday, November 10th, all veterans and active duty members of the military will receive complimentary admission to the National Eagle Center in observance of Veterans Day. Complimentary admission will continue through Monday, November 12th.

The bald eagle has a deeply personal meaning for many veterans and active duty military personnel. The National Eagle Center has worked with veterans for many years, regularly travelling to VA hospitals to meet injured veterans. The National Eagle Center also participates in the Blue Star Museum offering complimentary admission to active duty military personnel and their families Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The National Eagle Center is open daily from 10am to 5pm and offers live bald and golden eagles on display, daily classroom programs, and two floors of exhibits. Programs times will be 11am, 1pm, 3pm on Saturday, Noon and 1pm on Sunday, and 1pm on Monday. A complete schedule of program times is available on the web at nationaleaglecenter.org/calendar.
