Wisconsin first responders are reminding people it’s not only time to turn back the clocks, but to replace the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors as well.
Daylight Saving comes to an end this weekend with clocks set back an hour on Sunday morning. From 2012 to 2016, there were 54 reported fire deaths in Wisconsin. The National Fire Protection Association says three of every five home fire deaths in the U.S. result from fires in homes with no smoke alarms or no working alarms.
