Democratic candidate for governor Tony Evers says Wisconsin could see a 15-dollar minimum wage during his first term. Evers made the comment in a Friday night debate with his Republican opponent Governor Scott Walker.
The minimum wage increase Ever is seeking will probably get struck down by Republicans in the state Assembly, who will likely maintain control of the chamber following the midterm election in November. Meanwhile in the debate, Walker defended his three-billion dollar subsidy package to lure electronic company Foxconn to come to Wisconsin.
