The brainstorming has begun! And, new city laws are in the works to address excessive drinking and reduce noise in Eau Claire. A public session of a task force created earlier this year was held last night to inform the public on possible new ordinances.
Some of the ideas on the white board include and ordinance that would not allow visible accumulation of cans and bottles in yards. Another, would provide law enforcement with a way to engage people who are clearly intoxicated by either drugs, alcohol, or both and may cause harm to themselves or others.
