Eau Claire and Trempealeau counties are two of more than a dozen counties where U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested over 80 people this week.
Four people each were arrested in Eau Claire and Trempealeau counties. The arrests happened between Friday and Monday and outraged immigrant advocates. A board member from a non-profit organization in Chippewa Valley says she’s been in contact with some local families impacted by the operation.
