HELP FLOODS IN AFTER FLORENCE

The storm that was Hurricane Florence is only a tropical depression now, but it’s expected to pour out more than three feet of rain before it leaves the Carolinas. The National Hurricane Center says the storm will continue to spread catastrophic and historic flooding for days. Florence is already blamed for at least 17 deaths.

Wisconsin National Guard members are headed to areas affected by Florence.  Nearly 25 members left for the storm-affected areas on the east coast.  Half of the troops are staging in Maryland and the other half is in Virginia.  Weather conditions delayed them from reaching Raleigh, which was hard hit by the storm.
