More funding is now available for 50 Wisconsin counties and two tribes to help fund drug treatment and diversion programs.
Attorney General Brad Schimel says these programs help combat the ongoing fight against opioids and methamphetamine. Schimel said treatment courts are the best thing the criminal justice system has ever done. The state will spend more than six-million-dollars this year for treatment and diversion programs.
