The Grand Avenue Bridge is nearly completed and ready for you to lace up and take a walk across.
It will open today in time for the 5th annual Grand Evening on the Bridge. Downtown Eau Claire is hosting a dinner on the newly renovated bridge. The new bridge is two feet wider than it was before. Construction is still wrapping up on the east end, so people are asked to enter from the west side on Grand Avenue.
