Governor Walker’s bus tour is making its way across the state before primary day, and stopped in the Chippewa Valley. Walker was in Lake Hallie at Mouldys to tackle his run at Governor and focused on his record of jobs and education during his first eight years in office, and what he wants to do to keep Wisconsin working in the future. Walker will face off against the winner of the crowded Democratic primary.

Republican candidate Leah Vukmir is making her final campaign stops, and one of her last visits was in Eau Claire. She is running for U.S. Senate and told those gathered that she wanted to take the good progress made here out to Washington, D.C. The ballot for tomorrow’s primary will have five Republican candidates, and the winner will take on Democratic incumbent Tammy Baldwin in November.
