Authorities are releasing the name of the man involved in an officer-involved shooting in Eau Claire County. Sheriff Ron Cramer said yesterday that 23-year-old Reese Diesterhaft was shot after a chase that started in Dunn County and ended in Eau Claire County.
Cramer says the suspect stopped his vehicle, got out with a weapon, and officers fired, wounding him. He was flown to a hospital but his condition hasn’t been released. No officers were hurt.
