Did you happen to see the moon this morning? WOWSA, right?! It’s not just any old moon, it’s a Blood Moon…and we can see THAT.
But you will have to hop a plane if you want to see the longest lunar eclipse of the century tonight. It won’t be visible in the United States-but, parts of Africa, the Middle East, southern Asia and nations in the Indian Ocean will have a great view. The Blood Moon eclipse will last an hour and 43 minutes. The next time a total lunar eclipse will be visible here in the United States will be next year-January, 2019.
