Have you thanked a farmer lately? If you like food, chances are you owe a famer a handshake and a THANK YOU and thousands gathered to do just that, for the Farmers Appreciation dinner in Chippewa Falls last night, a part of June Dairy Month celebrations. The focus of the event was to recognize the contribution of farmers to the economy and well-being of the community. Organizers say 96-percent of Wisconsin dairy farms are family-owned.
To all those driving tractors out in fields in the late night hours and milking at the crack of dawn…to ALL the hard working farmers…we thank you.
