An update on immigration came yesterday…sort of..President Trump signed an executive order yesterday to end the separation of illegal immigrant families who try to cross the border. Buuut, it’s still unclear what’s happening those children who were separated from their parents at the border.
Governor Walker is saying that Wisconsin National Guard troops will be staying at the United States-Mexico border. Walker made the comment during a stop in La Crosse, saying he wouldn’t rescind his order to send the troops to Arizona to assist with border security. The governor says the troops are only serving in a support role and aren’t involved in law enforcement.
