Five children and two adults are safe after their boat got caught on the dam in De Pere. Authorities say the boat lost power and got pulled towards the dam under the Claude Allouez Bridge yesterday afternoon.
Some good Samaritans were able to secure a towable raft for the children and one adult to be pulled to safety. Another good Samaritan towed the boat in along with the other adult. No one was injured.
