Workers across the U.S. are upset by a planned closure of Harley-Davidson’s Kansas City plant, despite benefiting from a tax cut. The Milwaukee-based motorcycle manufacturer announced cuts of 350 jobs across the company.
Sales have been dropping as fewer younger riders are stepping up to invest in the bikes. The company announced a half-cent dividend increase and a buyback of up to 15 million shares in February, but says those things are not related to the tax cut benefits.
