Another one is in the books, and many in the RECORD books after a big weekend for the EC Marathon.
There was a record-breaking number of entries, with more than 49-hundred runners at race on Sunday, May 6th.
The faces of the races look like this:
On the men’s side, two-time defending champion David Luy posted a new course record, but fell just short of his goal of qualifying for the U.S. Olympic team trials.
Women’s winner Tammi Braund captured her second title. She set the women’s course record back in 2015.
The father-son team of Jordan and Jeffrey Bergeman of Eau Claire qualified for the Boston Marathon.
