A fire near Hammond closed portions of I-94 for over 5 hours.
It was just after 6:15 pm on Monday, October 12th when the Wisconsin State Patrol took a report of a vehicle fire on the shoulder of I-94, west of Baldwin.
A semi trailer carrying grocery products was fully engulfed in flames when
Troopers arrived on scene. One lane of I-94 remained closed for five and one-half hours, while crews worked to put the fire out and clean the scene.
