A new bridge connecting Crawford County Wisconsin and Lansing, Iowa will be opening ahead of schedule.
The old bridge closed to traffic in October of last year with a ferry service installed to folks across the Mississippi River until the new span could be completed. The new bridge had been expected to open in the spring of 2027, but officials say the work is being completed ahead of schedule. The new bridge will open to traffic in November.
