The city of Chetek is deactivating its social media accounts.
On a Facebook post made Friday morning, the city said “due to recent threats against City employees, the City of Chetek will be deactivating its social media accounts within 24 hours of this posting.” The deactivation means that livestreams of City meetings during any period of its deactivation. It’s unclear if this is a permanent or temporary move.
