A disciplinary case against the Ridglan Farms veterinarian is over.
The case was closed this week after the Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board voted to accept the permanent surrender of the veterinary license of Doctor Richard Van Domelen. The board mentioned Van Domelen agreed to surrender his license to practice in Wisconsin instead of fighting allegations of professional misconduct. The move comes weeks after Ridglan Farms ended its operations in Blue Mounds and sold off its dogs, with the remaining animals expected to be moved out by next month.
