Former Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes is ending his campaign for governor.
Barnes making the announcement Thursday on social media, saying it was clear who the Democratic nominee is going to be. He was 22 points behind state representative Francesca Hong in a Marquette Law School poll released Wednesday. More people in the poll actually said they were undecided on whom to vote for, than said they supported Barnes. Absentee voting is underway in Wisconsin’s August 11th primary.
