The wait is nearly over.
The response when the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair’s Sporkies and Drinkies finalists were first announced in April was overwhelming. And the time for a panel of celebrity judges to declare the winners and bestow bragging rights for this year’s batch of culinary creations is just around the corner.
Organizers have unveiled the finalists for the annual Sporkies and Drinkies competitions, featuring some of the fair’s most creative food and beverage creations.
This year’s contenders include Sweet Lemon Berry Cheese Curds, Birria Flamin’ Bombs, a Cream City Cone filled with bratwurst, and a Hot Honey Chicken Lemonade. The winners will be announced August 4, ahead of the Wisconsin State Fair, which runs August 6th through the 16th in West Allis. All of the finalist foods and drinks will be available for fairgoers to try during the fair.
