Group of WI Voters File Lawsuit

A group of Wisconsin voters, with support by the Wisconsin Democratic Party, is suing the state elections commission to let them vote again if their preferred candidate drops out of a race.

The lawsuit was filed yesterday in Dane County Circuit Court.  It asks a judge to force the state elections commission to rescind guidance that says Wisconsin voters cannot request a new ballot if their preferred candidate withdraws from a race.  Elections Commission Chair Don Millis has said the panel has no plans to change its guidance it approved earlier this month.
