Speeding Leads to OWI, Various Charges

A Clintonville man is facing several charges after a traffic stop in Clark County Tuesday morning.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says a trooper stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 29 at County Highway O just before 9 a.m. During the stop, the trooper detected the odor of marijuana and signs of impairment.

Forty-two-year-old Curtis Ray Stramer was arrested on suspicion of first-offense operating while under the influence of a controlled substance. Investigators say a two-and-a-half-year-old child was riding in the vehicle at the time.

Stramer also faces allegations of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
