The City of Menomonie is installing a lawn irrigation ban on local residents.
City officials say the heat is resulting in extreme demands from its water system and that, in turn, is affecting water pressure. The water pressure issues could have an impact on first responders’ ability to battle fires. The ban has been put in place until August 1st.
