Investigators from the Marathon County Sheriff’s office are still looking for leads following the theft of 20 head of cattle valued at 50-thousand dollars.
Deputies were called July 8th to Kingdom Haven Farm after the owners said the animals were discovered missing the morning before. Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry at gates, fences or the cattle barn. Authorities believe the suspect backed a livestock trailer into the west side of the barn to load the cattle.
The case remains active, with officials saying they plan to canvass the area for possible surveillance footage from nearby homes or businesses.
