UW-Madison’s new athletic director is calling his new job “a dream.”
Shawn Eichorst spoke to reporters yesterday after being introduced as the leader of Badger athletics. He referred to UW-Madison sports as the “pinnacle” of what’s taking place in college athletics and believes the school has had a positive impact on young people. Eichorst was previously the deputy AD at Texas, and the athletic director for Miami and Nebraska. He talked about several topics, including NIL, making the Badgers more accessible and building relationships in his first year.
