It was a violent end to Milwaukee’s Juneteenth celebration. Police say someone opened fire as the celebration was winding-down on the city’s north side yesterday evening. One person, a 39-year-old woman, was wounded as she was walking along the sidewalk near 5th and Burleigh. Milwaukee Police say there were several fights at the Juneteenth Celebration at near-by Rose Park. At least one of those fights is believed to have spilled-over, and ended with gunfire.
