District Looks to Improve Grades

The plan is to cut D’s and F’s in Eau Claire schools by 20-percent this year.

The city’s school board last night approved a plan to give schools some flexibility in helping students get back on track. A new report shows a lot more kids in Eau Claire failed classes last year. Director of Assessments Michelle Radtke says some of that increase can be blamed directly on remote learning. Radtke says principals and teachers will work with kids this year to make-up for what they lost last year.
