The search for a missing Eau Claire man has come to a happy ending.
Authorities issued a Silver Alert for 85-year-old Gerald Golke after he didn’t return home yesterday afternoon. His family said he’s new to town and isn’t familiar with the area. Police canceled the Silver Alert yesterday evening after Golke was found safe.
