WI Sees Steep Drop in Vaccines

Wisconsin could be looking at another steep drop in the number of people getting the coronavirus vaccine.

The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said just over 47-thousand vaccine doses have been handed-out so far this week. That number is sure to go-up by Monday, but 47-thousand doses is 40- thousand doses off from last week’s total, and nearly 10 times less than the state’s vaccine dose peak back in April. Just over 43-percent of people in Wisconsin are fully vaccinated. CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM WI DHS.

But the cause now includes familiar faces.

The latest attempt to get people in Wisconsin to get the coronavirus shot has a political twist. Former governors Jim Doyle and Scott Walker are teaming-up for a new PSA to encourage people to get the vaccine. Doyle is a Democrat, and Walker is a Republican. In the PSA, the two joke about how the vaccine is one of the few things they agree on.
