EC Health Dept. Looking for Dog After Bite Incident

The Eau Claire City-County Health Department is seeking assistance in locating a dog that bit a 10 year old boy, Sunday, May 23rd, 2021, at approximately 3:00 p.m. The bite occurred on Birch Street near Deyo Avenue.

The victim was walking westbound on the north side sidewalk with two other males in Eau Claire, WI. The person walking the dog was described as a white male in his 50’s, around 6 ft. tall. The male had brown hair and long goatee style facial hair. The dog was described to be a Pitbull breed, darker brown in color with white on its muzzle and feet. The dog was also described to have a scar on the right ear and part of the ear was missing. The dog was on a leash during the time of the incident.
