Fire danger is still high across the state.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources fire danger map shows most of Northern and Northwestern Wisconsin under a high or very high risk for fire. Eau Claire County is under a moderate risk for fire. It’s been much drier than usual in Wisconsin this year. There’s a chance of thunderstorms this week.
