Push for Election Changes Continue

Republicans in Madison are not letting-up in their push to clarify the rules before the state’s next election.

A Senate panel yesterday heard testimony about several election reform proposals that Republicans say will close the loopholes exploited during the November election. The plans deal with everything from absentee ballots, to vote counting, to how cities and counties can work without outside groups. The proposals are all likely doomed, though. Governor Evers has said for months that he won’t sign anything that he believes makes it harder for people to vote.
