Looking Forward to the Past

The Chippewa County Historical Society has high hopes to bring back a local tradition this spring.

Last year, the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted The Past Passed Here, the society’s popular fur-trade and logging-era reenactment. It’s back on the calendar for the public, May 6-9, at Marshall Park in Chippewa Falls.

Of course, this year there is still uncertainty caused by the pandemic, but the organization is dedicated to following CDC and Chippewa County Health Department safety guidelines with the plan as of now to hold the French fur trade and lumbering era re-enactments.

Open to the Public: May 6 – 9, 2021
Thursday & Friday, 3 – 6pm
Saturday, 9am – 6pm
Sunday, 10am – 3pm

Admission: per person $5, Family $15, Age five and under free. NEW LOCATION: Marshall Park, 101 Bridgewater Ave. Chippewa Falls
