Funding To Pay for COVID-19 Testing in High Schools

Governor Tony Evers says the state is receiving millions of dollars to pay for COVID-19 testing in high schools.

The funding announced today will offer voluntary testing to students, teachers and staff.  People under the age of 16 are not yet eligible for the vaccine in Wisconsin but there is concern about the new coronavirus variants and the need to test for them.  The federal funding amounts to 175 million dollars.
