The residents of an Eau Claire home locked themselves in their bathroom and called the police when they found an unknown person in their living room.
Eau Claire police say officers arrived at the home on the west side of town sometime yesterday to find a heavily intoxicated person lying on the living room floor, talking to themselves. Police say they took the person to the hospital for detox. They were cited for public excessive intoxication.
