Eau Claire County’s sheriff is not saying who died in Sunday’s officer-involved shooting in the Town of Washington, who pulled the trigger, or why any of it happened., but we do know there will be further investigation.
Sheriff Ron Cramer yesterday said the St. Croix County sheriff’s office will handle the specifics of the investigation.
One man died when police shot him about 4 p.m. on Sunday. The sheriff originally said officers and deputies were called to the home where the shooting happened because of a domestic violence incident.
