Governor Tony Evers says his meeting with Republican legislators regarding COVID-19 relief was productive.
The governor today said there is an urgent need for working together and he proposed a package of 19 bills totaling over 540-million-dollars to boost the state’s pandemic response. The Republicans led by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos have their own wish list, which includes expanding testing and contact tracing capabilities and providing aid to small businesses.
